My name is Janet Humphrey. I grew up in Allen, Oklahoma where I attended kindergarten through 12th grade.  I attended East Central State University in Ada, Oklahoma and received my bachelor degree. I received my Master's degree in Library Media from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Ok.

I taught at Wellston for 36 years. I have taught 3rd and 4th grade for 15 years and have been the Library Media Specialist for 21 years. I recently retired in 2019, but still work part-time here at the school.

I have two children. Kaleb and his wife Jocelyn live in Cimarron City. Kaleb works at the Guthrie Airport in Gurthrie.  Kelsey and her husband Austin live in Chandler. Kelsey is a third grade teacher at Park Road Elementary in Chandler.

I have been married to Terry for 36 years. We live in Wellston with our Labradoodle, Olivia.

In my free time, I love to be outdoors and spending time at the lake.
